My first introduction into web page creation was using Microsoft Front Page.
Do yourself a favor, don't do that. In fact do yourself a real favor and shy away from any editor that allows you to create in the wysiwyg mode.
These editors will not teach you basic good practice in HTML much less CSS. It's designed to let you create content with as little knowledge of what your actually doing as possible. It will not teach you about color theory, web usability or even the elegance of simple layout.
It's like learning to ride a tricycle and thinking you can run in the Baja 1000 with a little more practice.
Trust me, my Front Page site looked like a surrealist Picasso the cat hacked a hairball on. It was ugly, unmanageable and a general train wreck.
This site is my second try and yes, I have a HTML chart right besides me.
