Wanderlust:

You climb the highest mountain
and swim the distant shores
there grows in one a wanderlust
some new place calls to you

Looking down you see the earth
looking up I see the stars
the far off land called out to me
there was one thing do

I signed up, packed somethings
not really much to say
the rocket streaked into the clouds
with the team they sent that day

Years have passed and here we sit
in strange exotic land
yet others follow on our heels
with a civilization to plan

Things I've seen that made me cringe
lost friends along the way
but my heart still calls to me
for somewhere far away

So pack the bags and follow us
if strange lands are for you
we are the folks with wanderlust
the pioneer's sons come true

Note: Stuff

One day, long after my death, man will be able to cross the great distances of space to find new worlds. I envy those who will lay first eyes on these worlds.
